Attributes reflect what traits a character possesses in terms of physical, mental and social prowess. Everyone has attributes, and everyone is better at some things than they are at others.

The Attributes are as follows:

Strength: - How physically strong you are, used for Lifting, Throwing, Causing Damage.

Dexterity: - How quick and limber you are, used for Dodging, Melee, Brawl,  Initiative and Ranged Weapons, Crafting.

Stamina: - What you can take and how long you can take it for, used for Defense and Soaking, as well as Endurance.

Charisma: How charming and likable you are and how trustworthy you seem. Be sure you actually RP being charming and likable.

Manipulation: How good you are at getting people to do what you want. Rather than using likability to get your way, this is for using guile and psychology to achieve results.

Appearance: How beautiful (or how hideous) you are.  If you wish your character to be insanely ugly, be sure to specify Monstrous Appearance on your app. Like it or not, people judge people by their Appearance all the time, and it is paramount for first impressions.

Intelligence: How intelligent you are. Reasoning, Solving and Evaluating Situations.

Perception: How well you notice things. For investigating the scenes of crimes, tracking prey or playing Hidden Pictures, so on and so forth.

Wits: How clever and adaptable you are. It affects your reaction time in combat, and how quick you are to determine whether or not you are being fooled.

These are measured by points assigned to them that are generally referred to as “dots”. Each dot symbolizes a level.

1 dot - Poor

2 dots - Average

3 dots - Good

4 dots - Exceptional

5 dots - Superb

You can only raise an attribute up to 5, and you will need at least three points in an attribute if you wish to take an Epic Attribute in it later.

Attribute Allowances are as follows:

Demigod - Unclaimed / Rescuee: 24 (one stat may be at 4, all others must be lower)

Epic Attributes

Demigods are beyond mortals. They can do things that a normal human cannot do. To reflect this, they are able to raise their attributes beyond what is humanly possible in what is called an Epic Attribute. These are huge leaps beyond the normal, and are counted with your regular attributes for dice rolls.

If you have a dot in an Epic Attribute, you will always be  better in it than someone that does not. That means if someone has Strength: 5, but you have Strength 3  Epic Strength: 1, you are naturally stronger. It’s weird, but that is how it goes. This is a high power game, and people will have crazy powers. It will be more clear in the list below.

Possessing points in an Epic Attribute also allows you to purchase Knacks, which are  special abilities involving that Attribute. In our game, we are allowing people to take one knack per dot in an Epic Attribute that they have.
